Not every family is ready for photos in the first few days... and that’s where these sessions come in.
Early Expressions sessions are designed for babies 4–10 weeks old... a stage where those tiny newborn details are still fresh, but your baby is becoming more alert, expressive, and connected with the world around them.
The first few weeks with a new baby can look different for every family. Sometimes you need time to recover, adjust, settle into a routine, or simply weren't ready to schedule photos right away.
And sometimes... you just love the idea of capturing your baby awake and full of personality.
Early Expressions was created for those families.
While traditional newborn sessions focus on sleepy, posed portraits, these sessions embrace the stage where babies are beginning to look around, make eye contact, and show glimpses of the personality you are already falling in love with.

During your Early Expressions session, we will capture:

Your baby will be gently guided and photographed at their own pace, allowing us to capture authentic moments while keeping them comfortable throughout the session.
Just like newborn sessions, your baby's comfort and safety are my highest priority. I am trained in newborn safety and continue to stay up to date with safe posing techniques and best practices.
