Hudson Valley NY Newborn Photographer

Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first two weeks of your baby's life to capture those sleepy, curled up poses this stage is known for. I know those first days can be overwhelming, so if your baby has already arrived, please reach out! I may still have availability!

Is your baby already 4–10 weeks old? Take a look at my Early Expressions sessions, created especially for older babies who are more awake, making eye contact, and beginning to show their sweet personalities. ♥

Since I accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month, I recommend reserving your due date as early as possible.

Your child's comfort & safety are just as important as thier beautiful portraits, so I'm trained in newborn safety and stay up to date with current safety guidelines & techniques.

Before photography, I pursued a career in nursing, during which I became certified in CPR and first aid. To further protect my clients, I’m fully vaccinated, with titers drawn regularly to verify immunity. (My immediate family is fully vaccinated, as well.) I’ve also been cleared by the local school district to work with children (background-checked and fingerprinted).

When choosing a newborn photographer, the photographer's experience, education, talent and training in newborn safety (not to mention being a legal and insured business) is important, especially when you’re entrusting them with your precious newborn baby. 💕

Please note: I take a very limited number of newborn sessions each month, so be sure to reserve your due date early!

Newborns grow and change so quickly,

professional photographs allow parents to capture the precious first weeks of their baby's life in a way that they can treasure forever.

If your baby is older than two weeks, you haven’t missed your chance for beautiful newborn portraits. Sessions at 4–10 weeks are simply different...

At this stage, babies are more alert, expressive, and aware, allowing us to capture sweet eye contact, tiny details, and genuine connection. While poses may be more natural and less “sleepy,” these sessions create meaningful, personality-filled images that celebrate this fleeting stage just as beautifully.

Newborn Safety Certified

I am certified in newborn safety, which underscores my dedication to providing a secure and nurturing environment for every session. This certification signifies that my work has passed rigorous assessments, demonstrating my commitment to excellence and ensuring the highest standards in newborn photography.

My training has equipped me with the essential skills and knowledge to keep your precious baby safe during our time together. This commitment to safety and quality is at the heart of my practice, reflecting a genuine passion for the well-being of both the newborns I photograph and the families I serve.

Professional newborn portraiture is a way to celebrate the arrival of a new life and the beginning of a new chapter for a family. It is an investment in memories that will be cherished for a lifetime, and it is a way to create something beautiful and lasting that can be passed down from generation to generation.

Newborn sessions include all props, wraps, and accessories from my extensive studio collection…. everything needed to photograph your new baby.

Since babies arrive on their own schedule, they are booked as “newborn reservations” based on your due date. This ensures availability on my calendar no matter when baby decides to arrive.

Due to high demand, newborn sessions often book months in advance, so the best time to book is during your first or second trimester but I know how time can sneak up on you so do reach out if it's a last minute request. I may be able to squeeze you in!

Due to the amount of equipment involved in newborn portrait sessions; sessions are held in studio only. I do not provide in-home newborn photography sessions.

Capture your baby's lovable details like their sweet face and their tiny fingers and toes.

Please note: I take a very limited number of sessions each month, so be sure to book early!

Fine Art Newborn Composites

One of my specialties is creating amazing fine art composite images; a world where your newborn can sleep snuggled into an elephant’s trunk or play a part in your favorite children’s story.

Sessions (reservations) often book months in advance and I only book a limited number of newborns each month, so the best time to contact me is during your second trimester to guarantee availability.
