About Me

Hello! My name is Krys and I’m an award-winning family photographer based in Newburgh NY. I specialize in heirloom portraiture for mothers, babies & families that will be treasured for generations to come. I serve the Hudson Valley area with photo sessions on-location or on-site at my professional portrait studio in Newburgh, NY.

As a mom and wife, I know how precious family memories are, and I am honored to have the opportunity to capture them for my clients. I have always loved working with kids, and I’m an expert with wiggly, giggly, and shy children of all ages!

I am fully trained in newborn and child safety, and I take great care to ensure that my littlest clients are always safe and comfortable during our sessions. I am also a legal and insured business, so my clients can have peace of mind knowing that they are working with a professional.

When I'm not behind the camera, you can usually find me spending time with my own family, exploring new places in our community.

I am fully vaccinated and so is my family. I am also vaccinated for COVID!

Your child’s comfort and safety are just as important as their lovable portraits, so I’m trained in Newborn Safety, making sure to stay up to date with current safety guidelines and techniques.

Before photography, I pursued a career in nursing, during which I became certified in CPR and first aid. To further protect my clients, I’m fully vaccinated, with titers drawn regularly to verify immunity. (My immediate family is fully vaccinated, as well.) I’ve also been cleared by the local school district to work with children (background-checked and fingerprinted).

I feel so honored to photograph families, capturing their memories. Trust and friendship are the foundation of my business. I am not a high volume studio - my focus is on quality not quantity. This allows me to provide my clients with one on one, exclusive attention, creating a truly personalized portrait experience resulting in high quality service paired with museum quality wall art and products.
