What are the Best Colors to Wear to a Sunflower Field?
Since sunflowers take place in the late summer/early fall, definitely keep a fall color palette in mind. When deciding what to wear for pictures in a sunflower field, think navy, orange (burnt orange and corals will both work!), deep shades of teal, plum, beige, brown/camel, and burgundy, (but avoid olive. Even though it’s a go-to fall color and might seem like it coordinates well, the green is likely to get lost among the stems of the flowers.) Mustard and other shades of yellow can be hit or miss, so only go that route if you’re feeling good about it!
Family Outfits for Sunflower Pictures:
Pick 2 or 3 colors to work with and focus on. Depending on how many people will be in the photos, either have everyone wear solid colors, or balance out the number of people wearing prints with the number of people wearing solids. That way, you’ll end up with outfits that look coordinated instead of outfits that clash. For example, having everyone in a mixture of navy, light blue, and white would look beautiful as far as outfits to wear to a sunflower field.

When in Doubt, Wear Denim
You can’t go wrong with denim. The blue hue and texture of denim fabric never fails to be complemented by the golden glow of sunflowers for a sunflower portrait session. For something edgy and chic, try a head to toe denim look like a denim jumpsuit. Or, for a classic look, pair your favorite pair of jeans with a fall colored wrap top for an elegant, understated outfit.

Bring lots and lots of cold water!! and Pee before you go to your field!!! Haha
