Sessions take place in my portrait studio in Newburgh, New York.

When is the best time to book a milestone Session?
I suggest focusing more on capturing the milestones and not worry as much about getting them in right at 3, 6 and 9 months.
Instead, bring them in when they're pushing up and grabbing their toes (around 4 months), when they're sitting unassisted (6-7 months) and when they can pull themselves up and stand. (9+ months)
If you missed out on newborn portraits…
Older babies are more alert, awake and curious about the world around them. Your baby’s personality is emerging, some will not want to lay down and may no longer enjoy being wrapped. I listen closely to your baby’s cues. I let them tell me what poses they feel comfortable with, so they feel safe and comfortable as their comfort and safety is my main priority!
That is not saying we can’t still capture beautiful portraits of your little one… We will still try for wrapped, sleeping poses but please know that it cannot be guaranteed as each baby is different. We will capture your baby as they are, in this moment. ♥
At 1 -2 months, sometimes we get lucky and baby allows us to capture sleepy, wrapped poses.
